QBD-series Pockels cell drivers

QBD-series is a line of quite simple, compact and inexpensive Pockels cell drivers:

  • Push-up or pull-down modifications (fixed)
  • Up to 6 kV output voltage
  • Up to 100 kHz repetition rate
  • < 20 ns rise time or < 20 ns fall time (leading edge)

Applications: q-switching

QBD-mini Pockels cell drivers

QBD-mini-series key features:

  • Compactness (90x50x20 mm)
  • Push-up or pull-down modifications (fixed)
  • Up to 4.0 kV output voltage
  • Up to 50-100 kHz repetition rate (depends on voltage)
  • < 20 ns rise time or < 20 ns fall time (leading edge)
  • Applications: q-switching

QBU-series Pockels cell drivers

QBU-series Pockels cell drivers are more functional than drivers and may be used for advanced beam control:

  • Output is triggered by an arbitrary external TTL signal
  • Up to 6 kV output voltage
  • Up to 100 kHz repetition rate
  • < 15 ns (about 10 ns typ.) both rise/fall time

Applications: q-switching, pulse slicing, pulse picking

QBU-mini series key features:

  • Compactness (140x50x20 mm)
  • Output is triggered by an arbitrary external TTL signal
  • Up to 3.5 kV output voltage
  • Up to 50 kHz repetition rate
  • < 15 ns (about 10 ns typ.) both rise/fall time

Applications: q-switching, pulse slicing, pulse picking

QBU-10kV Pockels cell drivers

QBU-10kV is an extension of QBU-series operating voltage range up to 10kV.

  • Output is triggered by an arbitrary external TTL signal
  • Up to 10 kV output voltage
  • > 5 kHz @ 10 kV repetition rate, much higher at lower voltages
  • < 20 ns rise / < 25 ns fall time

Applications: q-switching, pulse slicing, pulse picking
